Artists at the Point

Saturday, July 26, from 10 am to 4 pm

Visitors will have the opportunity to watch demonstrations and talk with several members of the artist group. A welcome tent will be erected at the Gallery, which is open from 10 am to 5 pm daily. Some of the finest art in the region can be found locally at this little jewel of a Gallery, now in its 97th season.

art for outreach from donated paintings

Every year artists at the Gallery donate paintings to raise funds for an outreach program to encourage art education. Sales benefit area schools and programs, and a free family pass to the Portland Art Museum for use by anyone in the community, available through Skidompha Library in Damariscotta.

PORTLAND MUSEUM PASS DONATED TO SKIDOMPHA LIBRARY FOR PUBLIC USE

Gary Smith, PGA Board President gives Terry Hapach, Head Librarian at Skidompha a check for a day pass to Portland Museum of Art. The family pass allows 2 adults and 2 children a day at PMA. Any member of the public can reserve the pass and do not need to be members of the library.

lighthouse day & plein air painters

In September, on Annual Lighthouse Day, visitors are admitted to the park free. Many of our member Pemaquid artists will be painting on location. We host a Welcome tent with light refreshments.

Open Lighthouse Day festivities will take place all day Saturday, September 13, 2025.

CALL FOR ARTISTS FOR 2025 SEASON

JURYING FOR NEW ARTISTS

The Pemaquid Group of Artists will be jurying for new member artists on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. Drop off of three framed artworks, artist resume and a completed application form is Friday, April 11 from noon to 2 PM at the Lighthouse Park gallery location.
